A reverie is a state of mind in which one is lost in though. These thoughts are often calm or otherwise serene in nature. I spent six years with the Denver School of the Arts senior class of 2014, and Reverie explores those memories by using the image of a nostalgic summer evening as a visual guide. The piece weaves it's way through different memories and just as the sun slowly sets and the landscape turns to a mystical twilight, my journey with those friends comes to an end. However, though the sun sets and we are left with only bittersweet memories, one must remember that the end only brings about a glorious sunrise on a new beginning.
