Hot Potato

This energetic work passes the melody around the orchestra. Utilizing the musical technique klangfarbenmelodie (German for “sound-color melody"), the melody seamlessly weaves its way through each section of the orchestra. Students will develop independence while the audience will be straining their ears to figure out who has the melodic potato.
